When the company (LifeSport Coaching) that my triathlon coach works for asked him about getting images from an upcoming training camp in Panama City, I was very excited when he approached me. It was a two and a half day camp, featuring a group ride, group swim, nutrition and running form clinics, and culminating in a group run. Over the weekend, I subjected my gear to bumps, bruises, humidity so much that it fogged every single element all the way through my 35mm lens, whipping rain and wind, and ocean spray and splashes from standing several tens of yards out in the ocean to get pictures and videos of people entering the water.
Overall, I had a blast. It’s not often that I get to do two things I love at the same time, and this past weekend I got to do photography of triathlon. It could not really have gotten much better. In addition, I thought the images (about 250 of them) turned out pretty well! Take a look at just a few of the images here, and feel free to head over to Flickr with the link HERE to look at the rest of them, and HERE to go to YouTube and watch the highlights video that I made for LifeSport.
